Karen started making art as soon as she could hold a crayon. She has colored, doodled and destroyed more surfaces than you can imagine. She loved to give away her art and, thus, has no copies of her early works.
She started writing soon after and specialized in puffy letters and calligraphy. Her early favorite books were Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire and Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss. Her favorite fairytales are Cinderella and Hansel & Gretel. She still loves Sesame Street.
